How much power does the vice President have under the Constitution?

He does not have that much power since his role is to preside over the senate, and presiding over it means almost nothing and the VP does not have many options to exercise any power, even though he is second in command in the executive branch.

Well, if a primary source says that a country one a historic battle, and we find rope and unfired weapons and a large amount of bones inside of the rope area, then the primary source is then questioned.

How did the compromise of 1850 affect slavery during manifest destiny

Manifest Destiny basically mean, "EVERYONE MOVE TO THE WEST NOW!" But with no slaves, how would they create farms to maintain themselves? Easy: expand slavery. However, this was battled against by several sources to create the Compromise of 1850. The compromise delayed the Civil War, despite politicians knowing it will eventually happen. It bought them time-- that was important! Other new states like Nebraska and Kansas were allowed to allow slavery or not. This eventually grew to where the North had no slavery and the South did, which lead to the Civil War.
