Answer:

D. Zeitoun is considering the religious nature of the flood.

Explanation:

Dave Eggers' "Hurrican Katrina" is the story of Abdulrahman Zeitoun. He was born  Syrian-born American who was caught in Hurricane Katrina. Everyone left Louisiana but Zeitoun planned to stay back and look after his home and business. He was declared to be a terrorist and was denied to make any contact with anyone. The story revolves around his life from being alone to be arrested and later to be free. There were many layers of his life which Eggers had tried to unfold in his story.

Which two details in the passage supports the idea that Darcy is also prejudiced against Elizabeth
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

'Whose condition in life is so decidedly beneath my own.'

'The inferiority of your connections.'

Explanation:

The details which back the deduction that Darcy too possessed a prejudice against Elizabeth include 'Whose condition in life is so decidedly beneath my own,'  'The inferiority of your connections.' When Darcy considers the poor social standing of Elizabeth and her economic 'inferiority' as compared to Darcy, it justifies that he had an inherent bias against her and therefore, he could not admire her intellect or beauty or look at her with love and fascination.
