Thomas Wilson Dorr led the rebellion because he wanted a new constitution and an abolishing of voting restrictions. The rebellion failed. He was charged with treason and received a life sentence. But was released a year later.

Napoleon was then taken to Saint Helena, an island off of the coast of Africa, where he later died.
