When walking around at night, it is safer to walk with another person or in a group.

If you feel like you are being followed, try to go to a public place with other people.

If you see something suspicious, distance yourself from the scene before alerting the authorities.

Be realistic when dressing & choosing accessories or jewelry before traveling on the streets at night.

Hope those help.

City streets have become an unsafe place at night, and people should try to avoid walking alone in order to keep themselves safe. In order to have safer streets they should be patrolled by police. Also there should be camera on the streets, so they could monitor what is going on in that area. Night lights are also a very good idea, so you can see the area surrounding you, and you can see what lies ahead of you so you can avoid anything out of the ordinary.

Hope this helps!

Why does Chief Seatle resent the White Chief?
kaheart [24]

Seattle's mother Sholeetsa was hiDkhw'Duw'Absh (Duwamish) and his father Shweabe was chief of the Dkhw'Suqw'Absh (the Suquamish tribe). Seattle was born some time between 1780 and 1786 on or near Blake Island, Washington. One source cites his mother's name as Wood-sho-lit-sa. The Duwamish tradition is that Seattle was born at his mother's village of Stukw on the Black River, in what is now the city of Kent, Washington, and that Seattle grew up speaking both the Duwamish and Suquamish dialects of Lushootseed. Because Native descent among the Salish peoples was not solely patrilineal, Seattle inherited his position as chief of the Duwamish Tribe from his maternal uncle.

Which position describes Karl Marx’s view of religion and society?
lord [1]

Answer: b.Religion simply kept the Proletariat in their low social class.

Explanation: Karl Marx was a German political philosopher, economist, historian, sociologist, journalist and revolutionary socialist. Marx's critical theories about society, economics and politics were about class struggle. In capitalism, this manifests in the conflict between the ruling classes (known as the bourgeoisie) that control the means of production and the working classes (known as the proletariat) that enable these means by selling their labour power in return for wages.

Which excerpt is an example of situational irony in saki’s the storyteller""?
Soloha48 [4]

Answer:

Situational irony is when the expected action or response does not happen in reality. But, the opposite happens. In the passage: “Most of the aunt’s remarks seemed to begin with ‘Don’t,’ and nearly all of the children’s remarks began with ‘Why?’” is the situational irony.

The points that state the situational irony are:

The dialogues of the aunt and the children are given significance among the other characters.

All the other lines focus on the reaction of the characters after the story is narrated.

There is a sense of opposition between the aunt and the children.

Thus, the uncompromising attitude is conveyed through the word, ‘Why?’. The expectations that the aunt had on the children does not work out.
