There are three main effects of the immigrations:

- Reduction of Job Opportunities

The influx of immigration in the 1990s were not followed by the increase in business establishments. This make people need to face harder competition in finding jobs.

- Racial tension

Many locals at that time blamed the immigrants for 'stealing' the available jobs, which create racial tension between different group demographics.

- Assimilation

Despite those who involved in conflicts, large portion of local people and immigrants actually decided to got along with one another. This lead to the combination of two different cultures or more and formed a single unique culture.

If, on average, each person fishing in your local lake catches 3.5 fish per fishing trip, with a standard deviation of 1.2, what
dangina [55]

Answer:

Mean of sampling distribution=3.5

Standard error of sampling distribution=0.219

Explanation:

We know that

The average of catching fish per fishing trip=μ=3.5

and

The standard deviation of catching fish per fishing trip= σ=1.2.

We have to find the mean and standard error of sampling distribution of 30 fishing trips i.e. μxbar=? and σxbar=?

Mean of sampling distribution=μxbar=μ=3.5

Standard error of sampling distribution=σxbar=σ/√n

Standard error of sampling distribution=σxbar=1.2/√30

Standard error of sampling distribution=σxbar=1.2/5.4772

Standard error of sampling distribution=σxbar=0.219

Thus, the mean and standard error for a sampling distribution of 30 fishing trips are 3.5 and 0.219.
