How did doodle die in the scarlet ibis?

Doodle was pushing himself too hard trying to catch up to his brother in the rain. So when he sat down next to a tree because he couldn't run anymore. 
He died leaning against that tree, all flimsy and small like that red bird that fell out of that tree before, which was foreshadowing his death.

They threaten to have mr. jones come back and take over the farm again. the animals do not want this to happen, so they obey. this teaches the reader how manipulation is used in the farm to keep the animals together as they begin to break away from the farm rules.

In the quote: "There was something gorgeous about him [gatsby], some heightened sensitivity to the promises of life..." we can sense Nick's admiration and esteem for Gatsby.
