Given that m/_a=40 and m/_b=61 find that the measure of angles x and y
brilliants [131]
Answer:
y = 140, x = 159
Step-by-step explanation:
Angle y:
we can find this angle by subtracting 40 from 180, 180-40 = 140 = y
Angle x:
Some measure of an angle plus angle b is equal to 180 degrees: 180-61 = 119
We can now find the measure of the third angle of the triangle: 180-(119+40) = 21
The third angle plus angle x is equal to 180: 180-21 = 159 = x

A single die is rolled twice. Find the probability of rolling an even number the first time and a number greater than 3 the seco
IceJOKER [234]

Events

• A: an even number is rolled in the first time

,

• B: a number greater than 3 is rolled the second time

The probability of rolling an even number is:

\begin{gathered} P(A)=\frac{\text{ number of favorable outcomes}}{\text{ total possible outcomes}} \\ P(A)=\frac{3}{6} \\ P(A)=\frac{1}{2} \end{gathered}

The probability of rolling a number greater than 3 is:

\begin{gathered} P(B)=\frac{\text{ number of favorable outcomes}}{\text{ total possible outcomes}} \\ P(B)=\frac{3}{6} \\ P(B)=\frac{1}{2} \end{gathered}

Events A and B are independent, then the probability of one happening after the other is:

\begin{gathered} \text{ P(A and B) = }P(A)\cdot P(B) \\ \text{ Substituting with the values previously found:} \\ \text{ P(A and B) = }\frac{1}{2}\cdot\frac{1}{2} \\ \text{ P(A and B) = }\frac{1}{4} \end{gathered}

If a = 17.0079, b = 2.05, and c = 3.1415926, then what is a/b + c?
podryga [215]
A / b + c

17.0079 / 2.05 + 3.1415926 =
8.29653658537 + 3.1415926 =

the barkery you choose costs $1,000 per month to rent. The bakery that you almost rented was 1/4 the cost but was much too small
liubo4ka [24]
Well the easiest way to figure out this question is to just divide it by 4, like quarters, so 1000 divided by 4 is 250. so the other bakery was only 250. hope this helped
