History

Answer: For advanced HD (high definition) storage of videos. Also, because production of such a product is cheaper and safer for the environment, being made with alternate materials than conventional ones.

Explanation: The company Sony partnered with Toppan Printing (a company from Japan) to make a different sort of disc with the same quality of that of a Blu-ray disc. The reason for the invention of the Blu-ray disc was to create better data usage because the Blu-ray disc stores data using a blue laser rather than a red laser like normal disc. However since, Blu-ray discs contain a limited material such polycarbonate plastic which is derived of oil, Sony decided to make a paper disc instead. Using paper instead of polycarbonate plastic, they made a product that was both recyclable, less harmful to the environment and capable of achieving the quality of that of a Blu-ray disc. The materials are also cheaper to obtain and make.

Hope this helps! :)

According to the Welcome what are 4 urban problems Hull House
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

Settlement houses were created to provide community services to ease urban problems such as poverty. Inspired by Toynbee Hall, Addams and her friend, Ellen Gates Starr, opened Hull House in a neighborhood of slums in Chicago in 1889.

Explanation:

Settlement houses typically attracted educated, native born, middle-class and upper-middle class women and men, known as “residents,” to live (settle) in poor urban neighborhoods. Some social settlements were linked to religious institutions. Others, like Hull-House, were secular. By 1900, the U.S. had over 100 settlement houses. By 1911, Chicago had 35.
