Answer:

(C) gaining the right to vote for all women

Explanation:

The right to vote of women was proposed seriously for the first time in the United States in July 1848, at the Seneca Falls Women's Rights Convention, organized by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott. One of the women who attended that convention was Charlotte Woodward, who at that time was 19 years old. In 1920, when women finally won the right to vote across the nation, Charlotte Woodward was the only participant in the 1848 convention that still lived to vote, although she was apparently too ill to actually vote.

Why did British leaders impose the stamp act on colonists and what response did it elicit ?
Bumek [7]
 Best Answer

The tax imposed by the crown was actually lower than than taxes paid in England. The problem was we were not consulted or given a voice on the issue. The King tried to pass it off so that later on other taxes imposed on the colonies could be done without consent because we didn't argue about having a tax lowered.

Pure and simple it was a way to impose control without consent.
