The answer is B. A study of the ways that health care is affected by the political party that is in power would be a macro-level study.

EXPLANATION

The difference between micro-level and macro-level is one of the first lessons in sociology. Micro-level refers to a small-scale interaction. The interaction at the micro-level is only between individuals or a small group. Meanwhile, macro-level refers to a lot of larger-scale processes. Macro-level issues are things like policies, social changes, etc, that shape the citizens’ choices in behaviors and beliefs.

The two of them, micro-level and macro-level are both interacting with each other. There are many issues where the behavior of individuals that cause macro-level issues and vice versa. Micro-level issues include someone’s identity, body, interactions, and motivations.

If some individual prefers to not exercise and only stay at home, then this is a micro-level issue. If many individuals do this, that this case will contribute to the macro-level issues. If more people are not living a healthy life, then it will increase the obesity rates in a country. It can also create more illness for people because they are not living a healthy lifestyle. If obesity rates increase, then health care costs also increase. If this already affects the country’s health care costs, then it will be a macro-level issue. This is an example of how micro-level issues can influence the macro-level issue.

Two cyclists, A and B, are going on a bike ride and are meeting at an orchard. They left
Mama L [17]

Cyclist A is further away from the orchard at a distance of 48.5 miles. Cyclist A would reach the orchard first.

What is a linear equation?

A linear equation is in the form:

y = mx + b

Where y,x are variables, m is the rate of change and b is the initial value of y.

Let A and B give their distance from the orchard, in miles, after riding for x hours.

A(x) = -21x + 48.5

B(x) = -16.8x + 42

Cyclist A is further away from the orchard at a distance of 48.5 miles.

To reach the orchard, for cyclist A:

0 = -21x + 48.5

x = 2.3

for cyclist B:

0 = -16.8x + 42

x = 2.5

Cyclist A would reach the orchard first.
