Lenca pottery is an activity done in Honduras that identifies the ethnic gtroup with the same name (lenca), in which women are the protagonists and responsible for this task.
These handicrafts were made from pre-Columbian times and are characterized by their red, black and white colors. It should be noted that many of these products are sold to other countries (especially to european countries) as export, this is why the traditional method has changed a little bit in order to suit modern taste, without losing the lenca roots.
