Pretty huge difference actually-- starting with parrotlets are from South America, parakeets are from Australia. Parakeets actually account for a huge array of species, not just the common budgies they refer to. Parrotlets are also much more aggressive than budgies, parrotlets have bigger beaks that budgies, but both birds are social. For a beginner pet, I'd probably suggest the budgie over the parrotlet simply because their pecks hurt less! (Speaking from experience!)
Answer: 1: hypertonic
2 -80 millivolts
3 osmosis or osmotic pressure
4 potassium
5. concentration gradient
6 a chemical gradient occurs when more of one molecule is on one side of a membrane, and more of another molecule is on the opposing side. An electrical gradient occurs when more positive or negative ions are on either side of a cell membrane potential, or voltage difference.
7 The combination of a chemical and electrical gradient can result in an electrochemical gradient that drives the movement of ions and molecules across a membrane.
8 an electrochemical membrane can have opposing components gradient.

Answer:
Paramecium have cilia to move/eat, but euglena have flagella to move. How are euglena and volvox similar and different? Both can make their own food using chloroplasts (autotroph), but euglena can also hunt for their food. Both also use flagella to move, but volvox move together in colonies.
