Hey there!

1. You could feel joy and anguish at the same time, like when your happy crying. For instance, if one of your elderly great grandparents dies in their sleep suddenly, you may feel very sad, but in a way happy that they lived a good long life. You may also feel joy because they died peacefully, without pain.

2. I think the biggest factor for getting good grades at school would be turning in your assignments. As long as you take your time and turn your assignments in on time, your grades should stay high.

3. Here are two words that relate to the word "com" : Complement , Complaint. These to words do, in a way relate to the word Commentary, because as well as a Comment, they are both forms of speech.

5. (Example) I think if I could change any restraint I would change the fact that we don't have the privilege of using our own devices at school. I happen to have a iPad I take notes on with an Apple pencil. While taking notes with paper and pencil is classic... taking notes with an iPad is way easier to means. My hands would break in class. I think it would be awesome if they could change that rule. While paper notes may get lost, notes saved on an iPad wont at all.

Hope this helps you out! Good luck!

For this assessment, you may write either a letter to a friend or family member back home or a guide about immigration for peopl
ludmilkaskok [199]

Dear Friend

Coming into the United States as an immigrant from any part of the world, especially during the 1900´s is a real hassle and nothing like it was made out to be. To begin with, my expectations on what I would find and how my life would develop once I arrived here in New York deflated. Having come from Eastern Europe, and having had no money because of the depression and famine that hit Europe during the 1890´s, I was led to believe that once I arrived in America my life would change. I was approached then by a Padrone, recruiting agents from American companies that offer you jobs and a new chance in America and they offered me the world. But when I arrived, the reality was something entirely different. Because I am poor and couldn´t afford passage neither on first or second class, I was taken to the immigration port at Ellis Island, nothing more than a shack where millions of immigrants come every day. I was then detained for 4 hours while they asked me 29 questions, among which were, if I had family in America and if I had a job. But I was let go when they saw that I was no threat to them and their country. Because I was alone, I went out into the streets of New York and was faced with the stark reality. America was not as it was painted. I was met with unpaved roads, dirt, poverty, and also a lot of inequality between the poor and the rich of the city. Lots of factories and grime lined the small roads. Finally, I was found by a group of our fellow Eastern European brothers and they took me to their neighborhood. They have formed into clusters depending on their nationalities and state of life.

So prepare my friend, prepare well. America is a new chance at a good life, but it will be really hard to achieve and you must be ready for it.

Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

It is too far to read, please upload and I will answer :)

Explanation:

Aurangzeb did not respect his father and also throwed him to prison. Akbar was the third successor of the Bhabur the founder of the Mughal dynasty. Aurangzeb was the great grand son of Akbar and son of Shah jahan. Akabar did respected his parents and his Dynast and promoted the growth of his Dydnasty. He was one of the main reason why Mughal empire lost it’s power. Thus aurangzeb is totaly different from akbar. Mughal rulers', Akbar and Aurangzeb, policies were motivated by religious fluidity by Akbar who created a diverse, accepting, and highly successful empire while Aurangzeb's religious rigidity was the downfall of the Mughals. Akbar was very against having one religion in charge, eliminated the Jizya, made Persian the official language, established the Ibadat Khana and the Divine Faith in Fatehpur, combined religions. Aurangzeb returned to religious orthodoxy and reestablished the Jizya, resulted in revolts of sikhs and hindus and ultimately led to the downfall of the empire.
