Tissues refer to a group of similar cells that perform a particular function. In vertebrates, the tissues are orgainzed into four types called the epithelial tissues, muscle tissue, connective tissue and the nervous tissue.

Epithelial tissue refers to the tightly packed group of cells covering the body outside, lining the body cavities and glands. Based on the shape, it is classified into squamous (flat), cuboidal and columnar. It can be single layered (simple)  or stratified (multilayered). It protects the body, helps in the absorption of nutrients and elimination of wastes.

Muscle tissue is made up of the muscle cells that coordinate and bring movement and locomotion. It is made up of muscle fibres and the proteins called the actin and myosin. Muscle tissue is of three types-

(a) Skeletal muscle tissue is a striated tissue which is under the voluntary control.

(b) Smooth muscle tissue found in the walls of the blood vessels, digestive tracts and other parts of the body and are involuntary in nature.

(c) Cardiac tissue is an involuntary, straited tissue found in the walls of the heart.

Connective tissue contain cells present in an extracellular matrix connecting tissues, giving shape to the organs and holding them in place. It can be classified into loose connective tissue found throughout the body, dense connective tissue found in the bones and the ligaments and fluid connective tissue of the blood.

Nevous tissue is the tissue involved in control and coordination of the body. It helps in transmission of messages in the form of nerve impulse with the help of the structural and functional unit of the nervous system called the neurons.

Cod fry often settle under the bell of some jellyfish species, whose tentacles are poisonous. Name the form of relationship illu
bixtya [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

  • 해파리 (cnidarians) have a worldwide distribution. Despite most being harmless, some species may cause local and also systemic reactions. 처치 of 해파리 envenomation is directed at: alleviating the local effects of venom, preventing further nematocyst discharges and controlling systemic reactions, including shock. In severe cases, the most important step is stabilizing and maintaining vital functions. With some 차이점 between species, there seems to be evidence and consensus on oral/topical analgesics, hot water and ice packs as effective painkillers and on 30 s application of domestic vinegar (4%–6% acetic acid) to prevent further discharge of unfired nematocysts remaining on the skin. Conversely, alcohol, methylated spirits and fresh water should be 조심스럽게 avoided, since they could massively discharge nematocysts; pressure immobilization bandaging should also be avoided, as laboratory studies show that it stimulates additional venom discharge from nematocysts. Most 처치 approaches are presently founded on 상대적으로 weak evidence; therefore, further research (especially randomized clinical trials) is strongly recommended. Dissemination of appropriate 처치 modalities should be deployed to better inform and educate those at risk. Adequate signage should be placed at 바닷가 to notify tourists of the jellyfish risk. Swimmers in risky areas should wear 보호 장비.

If glucose is not the energy of the cell, what is? how does glucose relate to this?
mote1985 [20]

Answer:

Adenosine triphoshate(ATP) is the energy currency of the cell.

Explanation:

Glucose is the Stored energy which is formed by the Glycogen. At the time when the energy is required glycogen is converted into glucose while, ATP is the energy which is ready to use. In aerobic conditions, Glucose produces about 30 ATP molecules. ATP molecule consists of HIGH ENERGY PHOSPHATE BONDS which are broken down when energy is required.
