What do we find out about society from Julia and Winston Smith’s discussion?
Triss [41]

In "1984" by George Orwell, during the discussion between Julia and Winston, we find out that the Party has control over society because they were able to keep people ignorant. Winston does not know what year it is, and the information changes so often that it is almost impossible to discover the truth.
