Japan started its expansion invasion to China in 1931. Japan already had control over Manchuria, according to the Twenty One Demands of 1915. Of course, most of Manchuria inhabitants never agreed to the terms and conflicts and rebellions were part of this period. The Japanese occupied Chinese territories in this order Manchuria, Beijing, Shangai, and Nanjing. The conflict continued until World War II, where the Allies fought bloody battles in the Pacific.
