Well, <span>art is often controversial, because it is sometimes based on the religious beliefs or also the cultural circumstances of certain people...
~Meaning, someone may draw something about jesus, and people may consider that controversial... Because they may not believe in that god, or other reasons that involve the religious beliefs of people.

<span>Art is often controversial because of the subject matter. Artists often choose subjects that are taboo in ordinary social situations. Why do u think artists rarely use symmetrical balance in their work what are some other ways artists can create a visually appea
Sergeu [11.5K]
Well artists tend to make art that is important to them, and all of them have different art styles and preferences. Also it is difficult to perfectly make a symmetrically balanced piece of artwork. By using different styles and contrasting colors, or at that just looks complex and interesting to the viewer you can draw them in. Another way would be to create an artwork that can touch many different people emotionally. Overall art can be many different things to many different people.

Just my thoughts! Hope it helps!
