Fallowing is the order of events which lead to creation of Israel.

In 1916 Britain had viewed a Jewish entity in Palestine as detrimental to British strategic aims in the Middle East.

In 1917 British government adopted Balfour Declaration which intended the creation of a national home for Jews which was later endorsed by Italy, France and Japan as well as the League Of Nations.

In 1936 British appointed the Peel Commission which recommended the partition of Palestine. One part for Arabs and another part for Jews.

In 1942 The Extraordinary Zionist Conference was held in New York. It is also called Biltmore Program and it demanded the that Palestine be established as a Jewish Commonwealth.

In 1947 UNGA passed a resolution in which British Mandate of Palestine was partitioned into two - Jewish Sate and Arab State.

Lastly, on 14th may 1948, David-Ben Gurion the executive head of the World Zionist Organisation and the chairman of Jewish Agency for Palestine proclaimed the Israel Declaration of Independence i.e Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel. He became the first Prime Minister of Israel State which was first recognized by America in the same year and later Soviet Union fallowed the suit.

How did Byzantium's (Constantinople's) location help the city economically? it was a trade center conveniently located between A
bonufazy [111]

Answer:

I believe that all the things you listed on the question helped Constantinople economically. The most important thing, however, is that Constantinople was located in a trade route confluence, connecting Europe and Asia. But the geographical, and architectural aspects were important too.

Explanation:

You ask for a question related to the economy. Well, as the capital city of the Eastern Roman Empire, Constantinople was built in a strategic location. This city that received the name of Emperor Constantine I, Constantinople (or Byzantium, if you wish) it was one of the greatest cultural centers of the Roman Empire. At the time of its heyday, this city represented what left from the Roman Empire, especially because in the western division (which capital city was Rome), a huge fragmentation was in process since the 5th century. The location of this enormous city was between the Golden Horn and the Sea of Marmara, which created a safe place. But most important, Constantinople was located in a confluence of several trade routes. And the geographical conditions promoted safety for the city, because the invaders couldn't attack by any side beside the ocean, and the city was surrounded by huge walls.

2. THEORIZING How might geographical isolation have limited access to stories told in the oral tradition? Use the chart to write
Phoenix [80]

Geographic isolation limited access to stories told in oral tradition due to language differences between regions.

What is oral tradition?

 • It is the custom of telling stories that were not written.
 • It is the tradition of passing these stories from generation to generation, without the use of writing.

Language is very important in the oral tradition because the people who tell and listen to the story must understand the words used so that the tradition remains alive.

This issue was hampered by geographical isolation. This is because this isolation provoked the creation of new languages and customs, which did not allow the stories to cross the borders between the regions.
