As a 16-year-old in America, I can’t always do the things I want to do, and I can’t always make my own choices. This comes as a result of the community around me, whether at the local, state or national level, deeming what is appropriate for those my age. Bearing in mind the unavoidable tendency for youths to come alongside imperfect judgement and poor decision making, adults have determined which activities should not be left up to teenager’s discretions. Some have been legally declared too risky, too likely to lead to negative consequences or potential hazard.

Hope this helps!!!

16 year olds can be immature and not follow the laws. Also they are not considered an adult until 18 so their parents would have to take care of most car stuff for them if they get in an accident

DO NOW: What is the difference between
informational writing and narrative?
alina1380 [7]
Although they are telling true stories, narratives aim to bring the events to life for readers, making it three-dimensional as opposed to simply stating the facts. By contrast, informational texts focus solely on teaching the audience the most essential facts about a topic.

Read the excerpt from Anthem. Perhaps they cried out in protest and in warning. But men paid no heed to their warning. And they,
mestny [16]

The right answer is: Depicts the collective society as a destructive force that represses the independent thinker. Ayn Rand, the author of "Anthem", is one of the most controversial authors and philosophers of the twentieth century throughout her novels and lectures, Rand introduces her audience to her philosophy, Objectivism, which encourages people to be selfish and live a better life. To achieve this, you should do whatever you want, but without creating victims. To Rand, selfishness means to work hard, earn self-esteem, pursue the happiness and grow by treating others with the same value.

Written in 1937, Rand intended to use Anthem as a critic of collectivism, the philosophy that individuals exist only to contribute to the well-being of the society. In the novel, individualism has been erased and the world is crumbling.
