One of the main goal of European Exploration was D) to spread Christianity.

It is not A), because European generally failed to make alliances with Indian tribes, and when they did, they generally took more than gave.

It is not B), because mercantilism means "trade", which did not arrive (except the French) until the creation of the 13 colonies.

It is not C), because they generally did not have slaves. Another problem with making Indians slaves were because they usually were less resilient to the diseases then the European settlers and African slave's (that the European's brought).
