Choice theory has 10 axioms. One of which says that and states that "All Total Behavior is chosen, but we only have direct control over the acting and thinking components. We can only control our feeling and physiology indirectly through how we choose to act and think." With this, there are four components to behavior which are acting, thinking, feeling and physiology. Our behavior would be described to be as to what is the dominant of the four. In jogging, the acting would be the dominant one. When meditating, the thinking would be the dominant. As for feeling, being angry is an example of it being dominant. Shivering is one where physiology tops the other three. The most that we can control would be acting. If we can't change what we feel and our physiological state by that, then we move to thinking. Other than that, then it was a choice to let it dominate you to begin with and you choose to stay with it.
