In this example, White's friend wants White to take this job. However, we can see that White does not want to do so. The friend, then, tells White to "get off your throne." This implies that the friend believes White to think too much of herself. She thinks that White thinks she is above such a type of work, as if she was a princess. Moreover, the friend says that "money is green." What this means is that money is good, wherever it comes from, because it is always green. Therefore, it is not a good idea to refuse it.

The Tron is a place for special people, kings, queens, etc. Anyone who imagines sitting on the throne, and not a king or a queen, lives in the clouds, in some of his/her imagined world. It can not live in real life, though that's White's friend's opinion. Perhaps White decided not to take part in social gatherings and activities, which are not a pleasure to her, although she does not sit on the throne, that's her real decision. However, the reality is that you should take part whenever possible, be social, it's a pedagogue to go ahead, find a better job, better living conditions, and so we can accomplish what we may have imagined "on the throne".  However, money is important for the realization of our dreams, and money comes when we are active and entrepreneurial.
