The correct answer is - False.

While both cities, New Orleans and Jacksonville, are part of megalopolises, they are not connected between themselves, and they in fact belong to two different megalopolises.

New Orleans is part of the Gulf Coast megalopolis, in the company of the likes of Gulfport, Pensacola, Houston, McAllen...

Jacksonville, on the other side, is part of the Florida megalopolis, in the company of the likes of Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando, Miami...
