Answer:

False.

Explanation:

Interlude is derived from Latin word 'interludium', inter means 'between' and ludus means 'play. ' So, interlude is the pause between the plays. Historical meaning of interlude is "a short and humor play that is played between the play or in the pause of the plays."

The career of Shakespeare started with writing plays for London theater. It is unknown when did Shakespeare started writing but it is known that some of his plays were staged in London theater by 1592. Some of earliest plays written by him are Henry 1 (Part 1,2 and 3),  Titus Andronicus and  The Two Gentlemen of Verona.

So, it is false to say that Shakespeare career started with writing interludes.

The answer to this should be b. false

Interludes are small theatrical works usually between two plays, and Shakespeare began writing entire plays for London theaters, not interludes.

Read the excerpt from Hemingway’s A Farewell to Arms.
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer:

What exemplifies these men as heroes, as described by Hemingway, is:

D. They act casually and go about regular business, such as smoking, while actually in grave danger.

Explanation:

"A Farewell to Arms" is a novel by author Ernest Hemingway narrated from a first-person perspective. The narrator is Frederic Henry, an American lieutenant who is serving in Italy during the first World War.

This particular excerpt shows how the men are able to keep a cool head even though they know an attack is about to happen. That is what distinguishes heroes from those they protect. While regular people would feel nervous or scared, would run away to escape danger, heroes are able to remain calm. To show that, Hemingway describes how easily they go about regular business, such as smoking, as if danger is not lurking.
