I think Susan learns the lesson that life should go on and we must not stop living life when we get hurt by someone or not liked by them. This helps her change because she lets go and learns to live in the moment. She doesn’t wast her time on the past anymore, she helps comfort Tracy when she is faced with heartbreak.
