The dialogue between Cassius and Casca in paragraphs 13 through 16 indicates -

A their determination to conspire against Caesar.

Explanation:

In Act 1 Scene 3, Cassius is met by Casca on a fiery night right after the arrival of Caesar in the city.

Cassius talks about the ominous weather with Casca and first uses symbols to describe what it means to Rome. The things that he related include the fact that the weather means there will be 'ruinous state' in the future.

This is a double entente in the sense that he means that there will be bad weather as well as bad governance. Then he compares the weather to Caesar making the admission very clear.

suter [353]
Back in the day monsters were used to scare or shock them, they were ugly and different. If you look at Frankenstein, he’s deemed a monster or demon for most of the book. The only person to show him kindness was the blind man. In other older books most people fear or want to kill the monsters in the books. But if you look at today’s monsters we have vampires falling in love with humans, werewolves getting with humans. There are still stories where real life monsters like killers and such are made to scare you but not as many fictional monsters.

hopefully this helps and gives you some ideas on what to write, let me know if you need more examples!!

Identify the verbal and its function in the sentence:
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

The correct answer is A: It is a gerund functioning as a noun.

Gerunds are words formed from verbs. They function as nouns and end in -ing. Gerunds are used in sentences that convey the meaning of <u>real or complete actions.</u>

On the contrary, infinitives are verb forms that do not end in -ing. They are formed with -to preceding the verb form. They are used in sentences that convey the meaning of <u>unreal or future actions.</u>

PART A: Which of the following statements best express a theme in the poem?
Anni [7]

Answer:

c) People should embrace being alone and the peace it can bring.

Explanation:

In a poem, theme refers to the statement that provides a life lesson or a significant meaning. It is the main idea of the poem.

This poem starts by talking about daydreaming as a good escape from our problems, but not a solution. It continues by saying that we can't be at complete peace during our whole lives. So, we should learn to embrace being alone and also to learn how to find peace in this. It finishes by saying that we should be happy with being different.

Therefore, the main idea is that, despite having problems from time to time and being alone and different in our own way, c) we should learn to embrace this and learn how to find peace in this.
