MAVERICK [17]3 years ago

Answer: The Radley Place represents the privacy, isolation and unfriendliness of the Radley family. With its austere front and closed shutters and doors – which in Maycomb 'meant illness and cold weather' – we learn that the 'misery of that house' (Chapter 1, p. 15) began many years before the novel even begins.

The essential question for this unit asks students to think about how a person's attitude about the past and the future affect t
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

To study the processes by which past behaviour influences future behaviour, participants were led to believe that without being aware of it, they had expressed either support for or opposition to the institution of comprehensive exams. Judgment and response time data suggested that participants’ perceptions of their past behaviour often influenced their decisions to repeat the behaviour. This influence was partly the result of cognitive activity that influenced participants’ cognitions about specific behavioural consequences and the attitude they based on these cognitions. More generally, however, feedback about past behaviour had a direct effect on participants’ attitudes and ultimate behavioural decisions that were independent of the outcome-specific cognitions. Results are discussed in terms of their implications for biased scanning of memory, dissonance reduction, self-perception, and the use of behaviour as a heuristic.

The author says the decade had "a beginning, middle and end." his essay also has this structure. briefly describe these three se
belka [17]
In the beginning of the story, the author seems to describe the way of life for a lower class person. He describes the way of life that he lived to say it wasn’t much different from those who were in a higher class than he. They suffered more with the transition that happened during the Depression.
The middle of the story the author talks about the ease for him to find the essentials to survive the Depression. He also talks about how it affected the publishing of his books, the jobless community, and the way the new and old members of the lower class took care of each other.
In the end, the author describes the lifting of the Depression. How he got his books to finally be published and selling. He tells what he did with the profits from his writings. He had money but still seemed humble. He had friends in low and high places no matter the amount of money he had. He described a Stock Market environment after the Depression.
