The relationship between the two is negative. More specifically full of hatred from the colonists side for being exploited through laws set up by the parliament to benefit them(parliament) and the King.

For example, after the unsuccessfully "French And Indian War" Britan was in debt from War. The parliament then collected taxes(money) from the colonists even though the colonists never wanted to start a War with the others.

What ways might european empire building in the americas be understood as a single phenomenon?
zheka24 [161]

Discovery of America is called the historical event of October 12, 1492, consisting of the arrival in America of an expedition led by Christopher Columbus by order of the Catholic Monarchs, Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon. Columbus had left the Port of Palos two months and nine days before and, after crossing the Atlantic Ocean, he arrived at an island in the American continent, Guanahani, believing that he had arrived in India. This fact is one of the fundamental moments of universal history and represents the meeting of two worlds that had evolved independently from the settlement of America.

This event marked a before and after in universal history, this event marked European and American history in the same way.

The Spaniards first and then the Portuguese and French English, were given the task of discovering what the new world had. In the process of colonization a cultural clash could be seen between the aborigines and the Europeans. From this relationship, the Europeans were the most benefited, since they expanded their language, their culture and in some cases imposed their religion. In this way they created an empire to suit them.
