Read the last stanza of Robert Frost’s poem “The Road Not Taken.” Why is it significant that the two roads diverged? I shall be

telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. from "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost A. The speaker is recalling, "with a sigh," how difficult it had been for him to choose the more traveled or the less traveled of the two roads. The forked road is a metaphor for the inherent duality in the natural world. B. One of the forks in the road represents the speaker in his youth when he chose a road; the other stands for the speaker "ages and ages hence." The forked road is a metaphor for the many contradictions found in nature. C. The speaker is relieved that he chose the road of moral living over one of temptation and ruin, which would have come from the other path. D. The speaker is imagining what it might be like to describe his choice of a life path after he has taken that path to close to its end.

Response

A. Everything the fortune cookie predicted would happen to Kyle came true.

Explaining

C and D. C and D. The tale has no supernatural dimension

For C, they compete in building a haunted house, but nothing paranormal (i.e., the ghosts) suggests that it is something supernatural.

For B, due to probability / chance the road signs might have been green. It does not also indicate the number of intersections.

For A, the fact that a cookie could provide Kyle's destiny / future has some mysterious / supernatural element.

How does Tenzing Norgay introduce the events of the dream comes true
12345 [234]
He starts with his own account of the climb. However, he only does it with a few sentences, and then, as soon as he mentions the breathing problems, he proceeds with explaining how Hillary's account was not completely accurate. At the very beginning, the reader gets to understand that this text's purpose is not to describe the climb, but to supplement (or correct) another person's account.

Jody’s requirement that Janie bind up her hair is central to the conflicts in their marriage -Janie open hair attracts the attention of other men's towards her .He does not want other men to notice her or pay any attention to her.

Explanation:

This phrase shows Janie frustration and also how she feels annoyed when asked to bind up her hairs .Janie fails to understand that why it is so important for her to do so,she hates doing things at the will of the other people.

The basic reasons why Jody always ask her to tie up her hair is because Janie has a beautiful personality and she looks even more beautiful with open hairs.Jody is very possessive about Janie and hates the fact that Janie open hair attracts the attention of other men's towards her .He does not want other men to notice her or pay any attention to her.
