(3) Public Communication - A professor leads a literature discussion on Shakespeare's Othello

Explanation:

Public communication by nature connects the large audience at large, it usually happens in events where face to face interaction occurs with the audience who may ask the presenter questions on his presentation such as academic conference and gathering. It is such that entails a message that is aimed for the general public and not individuals. The presenter must be able to grab the attention of the audience. In delivering in public, you must make sure that the audience will understand your speech and be able to walk home with some knowledge and understanding. An example of public communication is where a motivational speaker delivers some speeches to his audience at a public event thereby passing a message to a large no of people. Public Communication may sometimes be difficult, and this is usually the case when the presenter has limited time to deliver. An example of public communication is where a student needs to deliver public speaking at a conference.  Another example is where A professor leads a literature discussion on Shakespeare's Othello

Mass communication is a form of distributing or passing information or messages to a large group of anonymous people and organizations at large. It is usually through Journalism like broadcast on Radio, Television. It can be through Entertainment like music, videos, movies. It could also be through Sport. It can also be through Publishing books, advertising, Marketing, Media, Video games, Social Media, Campaigning. Another example is where the President of the United States speaks to the nation in a radio address.

Interpersonal communication is a way of communicating information between two or more people who are knowledgeable about each other, for example between husband and wife, mother and daughter, couples, spouses. It is by nature between people and not to the public. It could also be between small groups of people like friends or family. It is usually a face to face communication. Examples of interpersonal communication is phone conversation, email conversation or letter writing conversation etc Interpersonal communication is usually convenes through verbal communication and commonly used interpersonal communication by saying words to one another while nonverbal use of interpersonal communication is where the people involved communicate or convene their message in gesture or body language without the public awareness, for example by facial expression. Another example is where two people who interdependent on each other pass information to each other e.g. where A husband and wife enjoy an elaborate anniversary dinner.

Small group communication is a form of passing information or message between more than two people face to face. It happens where at least three people involved in communicating information to one another and usually not more than twelve to fifteen people. They usually come together to give a solution to a given task, For example, a group work in the school or at work not less than two and not more than twelve or fifteen. They come together to brainstorm and deliberate on a difficult task and make a report and every report must be a contribution of all the team members. Another example is where three friends meet to discuss plans for the class party.

How does Sophocles create tension in the play Oedipus the king?
Westkost [7]

Answer:

When they are finished, Oedipus steps in, rather pridefully, and assures them that he has the situation well in hand. His pride while addressing them, and his assurance that he can handle the situation (rather than praying to the gods as a more humble man might do), certainly increases the dramatic tension in the play.

I hope this helps!!!!

Analyze the design of this electronic presentation slide. What are three design problems, based on the design principles from th
Lynna [10]

Answer:

The three design problems with the electronic presentation are:

1) The slide representation: The background and the text of the slides in the presentation shall be in such a manner that it can be easily be visible for every reader. If a poor background and text colour and font is chosen then it will be not attract the readers.

2) Too many topics in a slide: In an electronic presentation, too many topics should not be discussed in a single slide. Try to explain a single topic in a slide or even use some more slides if the topic is large. But using a single slide for discussing many topics is not up to the mark.

3) No pictures, graphical representation: A presentation will look absolute dull if there are no pictures or graphical representations. Try to explain your topic with the help of diagrams. Use the text for speaking or explaining and use the diagrams to put on the slides.
