What events in beethoven's life influenced his music career? discuss at least three events. 2. how was the eroica symphony recei
miss Akunina [59]

1. I believe the correct answer is: going deaf, income reduction and health problems.

The events in Beethoven's life which influenced his music career were going deaf, income reduction and health problems. Beethoven started going deaf when he was 26 years old and on the peak of his career, but the deafness took its tool and he soon went completely deaf. His deafness influenced with his income problems, as he couldn’t compose and have concerts anymore. Apart from this, he had health problems, especially with liver as he drank too much alcohol.

2. I believe the correct answer is: no one was in favor of the symphony.

After the premiere of the “Eroica Symphony”, critics and the public (amateurs) were not in favor of it and it was immediately denounced. But two years after the premiere, the “Eroica” was characterized as "the greatest, most original, most artistic and, at the same time, most interesting of all symphonies."

3. I personally like Beethoven’s “The Symphony No. 3” in E♭ major, Op. 55 in four movements for the melody and the tune of the symphony are relaxing and soothing. Apart from that it is well written, considering length, harmony, and perceived emotional content.

4. I believe the correct answer is: the role of hero.

Beethoven dedicated the “Eroica Symphony” to Napoleon Bonaparte and gave him the role of the hero, because he believed that Bonaparte was the embodied the democratic and anti-monarchical ideals of the French Revolution. Beethoven later re-dedicated thissymphony to Prince Joseph Franz Maximilian Lobkowitz.

I believe the correct answer is: no, he didn’t.

When Napoleon Bonaparte proclaimed and crowned himself as the Emperor of the French in 1804, Beethoven was enraged because his ideals were broken, he stated: “"So he is no more than a common mortal! Now, too, he will tread under foot all the rights of Man, indulge only his ambition; now he will think himself superior to all men, become a tyrant!"

5. I believe the correct answer is: patrons commissioned his works for publication and had the exclusive copies and concerts.

Even though Beethoven has earned his income from teaching, public performances and publications of his works, he was greatly depending on the generosity of his patrons. But, the patrons commissioned his works for publication and had the exclusive copies and concerts.

6. I believe the correct answer is: to expand harmony and create the variety of musical experiences.

Beethoven uses contrasting keys in the symphony to exploit the contrasting key’s emotional power – to express his emotions with the keys he played. He did that expanding the harmony and the variety of musical experiences that sound different than in the other symphonies.

7. I believe the correct answer is: the emotional quality it gives off.

The emotional quality is what determinates the key’s character, which can be subdivided in two parts – minor and major key. However, the instrumental tuning often helps distinguishing that each key, whether it is minor or major, have a different sound.

8. I believe the correct answer is: the better understanding of the audible experience may deepen the connection with the work.

The knowing about the piece’s themes and the interaction of the orchestra helps to understand the work, the emotions it intends to show, and deepen one’s connection to the work through the narration under the video of the symphony orchestra helps to show us what is happening in the symphony.

Snowcat [4.5K]

What is groin vault?

 • A barrel sepulture is essentially a tunnel, a long round superior that makes a tunnel.

 • The perpendicular point of intersection of two tube burial chamber, called a groin vault.

 • These vaults used in Roman architecture.

What is rib vaults?

 • Sometimes, groin vaults may point or else of round, this means the barrel vaults are pointy and not fully round.

 • The point of intersection of these two sharp barrel vaults forms what it's called a rib vault.

 • Rib vaults typically applied in Gothic building. They are more cost-efficient considering weight carriage and behind the pillars on the ground and external flying buttresses instead of walls themselves.

Hence, Groin vaults have more support than rib vaults and are also good.
