Answer:

As per the statement: A certain liquid has a density of 0.855 g/mL. If the mass of a sample of the liquid 1.00 kg.

Use conversion:

1 kg = 1000 gm

then;

Density of liquid = 0.855 g/mL

Mass of a liquid = 1 kg = 1000 g.

Using formula of volume :

\text{Volume}=\frac{\text{Mass}}{\text{Density}}

Substitute the given values we have;

\text{Volume} = \frac{1000}{0.855} = 1169.59064 ml

therefore, volume in mL = 1.16959064 \times 10^{8}

7,200 yards equals ? miles? are there any extra yards
olga2289 [7]
Hello there!

By converting 7,200 yards into miles, 7,200 yards would be 4 miles.

But to really give you the correct answer, it would actually be 4.(090909). This extra part would basically almost be known as 1.

So, it would be 4.1 miles.

I hope this helps you!

HELP it's a maths question worth 4 marks
Ksenya-84 [330]

a = 3, b= - 4 and c = - 4

expand the left side using FOIL

(2x + 1)(ax + b) = 2ax² + 2bx + ax + b = 2ax² + x(2b + a) + b

compare the coefficients of expressions on left and right sides.

compare 2ax² + x(2b +a) + b with 6x² - 5x + c

coefficients of x² terms → 2a = 6 ⇒ a = 3

coefficients of x terms → 2b + a = - 5 → 2b + 3 = - 5 → 2b = - 8 ⇒ b = - 4

constant terms c = b = - 4
