And such is the fate of hapless lexicography, that not only darkness, but light, impedes and distresses it; things may be not on
vfiekz [6]
The underline word for this one is hapless. My answer would be unlucky or unfortunate; pitiable. In this context, the narrator talks about the unlucky person who is compiling a series of dictionaries or lexicographies. Compiling it may be very complicated and long but at the end, there is something good that comes out from such action.

Click to read the passages from "The Perils of Indifference" and "Nobel Prize
kakasveta [241]

Answer:

The answer is letter B, Human suffering

Explanation:

"The Perils of Indifference" was a speech given by Wiesel in 1999. It highlighted the "human suffering" which he based upon his own experience as a political prisoner in the Nazi concentration camp. He warned about how dangerous "apathy" (lack of enthusiasm) can be for a person. When he was put in prison, most of his family members were killed and this left him with less enthusiasm about living.

In the same way, Wiesel also talked about "human suffering"in the "Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech" by stating that "silence encourages the tormentor." If people do not speak up about their condition or situation, the tormentor will take advantage of it. He also encouraged people never to be silent whenever they see people enduring suffering. They should do something about it as well.

Therefore, both of these centered on "human suffering."
