Answer:

EUGENE They're clean. I'm wearing a glove.

Explanation:

Dialogues in a play are always written in the following manner:

Name of Character: Dialogue

For example, the following are opening dialogues from Macbeth

First Witch

When shall we three meet again

In thunder, lightning, or in rain?

Second Witch

When the hurlyburly's done,

When the battle's lost and won.

Third Witch

That will be ere the set of sun.

  • The other options are all ways of conveying dialogue in prose.

List two devies of repetition in song of slves in the dessert .give examples and explain why whittier used these devices
Simora [160]
Whittier used "We" and "Thou" as forms of repetition in his song of slaves in the desert.

We: He used we as to show that basically slaves WERE NOT alone in this at all. In a way at that time, every single slave was connected with each other no matter what.

Thou: From what i have seen, Whittier is using "Thou" to refer to God. For example: "We are fools, but Thou art wise"

For the devices, he's using Anaphora for "Thou" and maybe Conduplicatio for "We".
