6 yards to 36 yards percent of change

Mathematics

Percent of change = amount of change/original amount
P=(36-6)/6
P=30/6
P= 5
Change that to percent:
5 x 100
= 500%

Hope this helps :)

This is equal to the amount of change over the original amount
 In this case the amount of change is 30   (36-6=30)

 = 5
And 5 = 500% percent of change

Note that this is different than: What percent of 6 is 36?  That would be 600%

peace bruhhhh

-4r-8(r-6)=7(5r-1)+8
KATRIN_1 [288]

Answer:

r = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question, we have to solve for the vallue of "r". We will use the distributive property shown below to ease our process.

Distributive Property:

a(b+c) = ab + ac

Now, lets solve this:

-4r-8(r-6)=7(5r-1)+8\\-4r-8r+48=35r-7+8\\-12r+48=35r+1\\48-1=35r+12r\\47=47r\\r=\frac{47}{47}\\r=1

As we have seen the value of r is "1"

Use the method of undetermined coefficients to solve the following differential equation: y′′+4y=4x
nikklg [1K]

Answer:

y(x) = C_1 cos 2 x + C_2 sin 2 x + x

Step-by-step explanation:

given,

y′′ + 4 y = 4 x

D² y + 4 y = 4 x

(D²+4) y = 4 x

now, writing Auxiliary  equation

m² + 4 = 0

m² = -4

m = ± 2 i

now, complimentary function

y_c = e^{ax}(C_1 cos b x + C_2 sin b x)

a = 0 ,  b = 2

y_c =C_1 cos 2 x + C_2 sin 2 x

particular integral (y_p)

y_p = a x

y'_p = a

y"_p = 0

now,

y′′+ 4 y = 4 x

0+ 4 (a x )= 4 x

4 a x = 4 x

     a = 1

now,

  y_p = x

now, general equation

y(x) = y_c + y_p

y(x) = C_1 cos 2 x + C_2 sin 2 x + x
