For any group to be effective, it is important to make sure that unity is there among the members. There must be a sense of compromise, communication, and be a good listener too.
Aside from that, a group can be made more effective if creative ideas and solutions are generated and brought together and discussed among the members. Taking necessary actions and selection of the best solutions after deliberations can also make a group effective. But getting feedback is not something that will make the group effective.
