Answer:

Please Read Below

Explanation:

Applying to college can be an extremely stressful and worrisome process. Having the support of your parents, can be helpful in reducing this stress! Most parents just want you to attend the college that can best serve you and your needs. During your freshman year of high school, feel free to casually talk about colleges, and some areas that you might be interested in for study. During your sophomore year, perhaps you can take a few college tours, or maybe attend a summer camp for one of your interests! As you transition into your Junior year, this is really when it's vital that you be 100% open with your parents about the colleges you want to attend. This way, everyone is on the same page, and your parents can help you achieve your goals.

Most parents, simply want to make sure that the college provides a first-rate academic experience, real-life marketable skills, and a safe campus for students. This is totally understandable, but does not mean that your parents wants to control exactly where you attend college. It's important for your parents to know that you are taking your academics seriously, and that you are driven to get into one of your top choices for college. Do your research, and show your parents exactly why your top college choices are the best fit for you! College is a major responsibility, and your parents need to see that you can handle it.

Hope this helps! :)
