This story is as interesting as motivational. The story tells the life of a small boy in junior High who loves football and practices a lot because he dreams of playing football in college. He practices a lot he never misses a training and his father supports him all the time from the stands of the football pitch even though the boy is never called in for any game, only for the practices. The little boy is a clear example of dedication and perseverance because he never lets that situation discourage him and his father is always "seeing" him from the stands and giving him words of support. One day in a very important day the boy asks the coach to let him in and the coach allows him as a reward for his perseverance and dedication but without too much expectation from him. Surprisingly, the small boy plays perfectly and saves the game, nobody could believe his eyes, nobody thought the tiny little boy could play in such a way. After all the players congratulated the little boy the coach approached him and asked him what had happened, how he had been able to play in that way. The boy's  answer made the coach's blood run cold, the little boy said: "did you know  my dad died, but did you know that my dad was blind?"  The young man swallowed hard and forced a smile, "Dad came to all my games, but today was the first time he could see me play."

The story was written by Christopher Novak.
