Michael is researching how small businesses help create jobs. He found the following study published by the Small Business Admin

istration (SBA) in 2010. Most small firms start small, stay small, and close just a few years after opening. This typical life cycle is often used as evidence that small firms do not have a significant impact on employment. However, the Census Bureau’s Business Dynamics Statistics (BDS) show that firms created 70.5 million jobs in their first year of existence between 1977 and 2000; 57 million jobs remained by the time those firms reached their fifth birthday. Michael wants to use exact words from this study in his writing. In which option can Michael use the exact words from the study, but also avoid plagiarism?

Explanation:

Step 1: Choose the correct answer

I think that Michael should use quotes around the chosen piece and also give credit to the person/organization that said these words. Also, make a citation with the correct credentials to make sure that to avoid plagiarism, you do not make others work seem to be yours.

Hope this helps, Igor Oleshko :)

The National Fire Protection Agency instituted a color-coding system for fire hydrants phrase or a clause?
Ksju [112]

It's a clause, your welcome; a clause is a sentence/group of words that offers a viable subject and verb, phrases on the other hand DO NOT.
