A Renaissance Man is an ideal that developed in Renaissance Italy according to which men should try to embrace all knowledge and develop their capacities as fully as possible. This is why Da Vinci, a gifted artist, scientists, musician, inventor, and writer, is considered one of the clearest examples of what a Renaissance Man is.
