8)Halloween started out as a festival called Samhain. This festival was created in Ireland.
9)We might dress up because the Celtic people would dress up to disguise themselves from the spirits. This dressing up is something that has stuck around even through the various changes of halloween.
10) Halloween is different in one way because we no longer think that during halloween the spirits from those that have passed are going to the next world. Halloween is still the same in a since though because it takes place at the same time of year. Halloween takes place after summer but before winter.
