Answer:

The internet is a scary because it opens up an individual's identity to the entire world with just one click.  All of your personal information can possibly accessed by hackers - people who have nefarious intention to steal your identity and have access to your personal finances, social security number, bank account numbers, passwords, and emails.  I

I have always been super vigilant in protecting my information and only visiting secure websites;   therefore, I have never had any scary experiences online.

Teens are particularly at risk for believing fake news because they have not learned how to question information online.  They are more gullible than many adults who have had more experience with this issue.  Teens need to learn to become more discerning in their tendency to unquestioningly accepting whatever they read or are fed on the internet.

Internet is a scary place because of all the people in it. You can meet an online friend but in reality, they’re just some 50 year old man! The internet is a scary place also because of the sketchy websites. There are many websites that can track your IP address and find out where you live which can be very scary.

Teens are particularly at risk for believing fake news because of what’s going on nowadays. There are so much rumors that seem true but aren’t! Many teens believe this because “there friend told them” but they have no evidence upon it. You shouldn’t be gullible and believe anything on the internet without someone believeable confirms it!
