Since we assume the outcome of the games are independent and the probability that A wins any one game is p. We will have that:

The probability that:

Team A wins in 5 games = p^{4} (1p)

Team B wins in 5 games = p(1p)^{4}

Since there are 4 ways each team can win in 5 games, the probability that the series last 5 games is:

4[p^{4} (1p)+p(1p)^{4} ]

Thus, the answer is:

4[p^{4} (1p)+p(1p)^{4} ]

The sum of the interior angles of a triangle is always 180 degrees.  Thus,
the sum of 31, x+4 and 3x+9 must be 180.

31 + x + 4 + 3x + 9 = 180,     or    44 + 4x = 180

While it's not necessary, y ou could reduce this equation before solving for x:

11 + x = 45.             Then x = 34 degrees.

The three angles are then:

31
34+4 = 38
3(34) + 9 = 111

Check:  show that 31+38+111 = 180 (degrees)

Answer:

The answer is "1200".

Step-by-step explanation:

The percentage value for \frac{heating}{cooling}= (48 \% )

So,

\to 2438.67 \times \frac{48}{100} \\\\\\\to 117,056.16 \times \frac{1}{100}\\\\\to 1170.5616\\\\

rounding the value into the nearest hundred =1200
