Hello,
The answer is "She does not understand algebra".
Reason:
Since she couldn't figure out the lesson on algebra she was going to talk to one of the students about the lesson. Since they all ran out to quickly she has no one to talk to and help her understand the work. (I would ask the teacher) Since that happens she experiencing the problem she does not understand algebra. Therefore thats the answer to this question.
If you need anymore help feel free to ask me!

Sanitation
With the rapid influx of people into New York City, sanitation would be a major issue for people living in New York City in the mid-to late 1800s. Proper sanitation is a need because without it disease is easily spread. Overpopulation creates a strain on any sanitation system, and in the mid to late 1800s, there was really no system for sanitation in New York City. All of the other options were not a major issue for people during this time period as they were not seen as necessities, only luxuries.
