The Birmingham campaign was a movement carried out in 1963 to ask for the inclusion of African-Americans in Birmingham, this movement was planned by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and was led by different activists including Martin Luther King Jr.

It was observed how the Birmingham campaign was different from others because in it the children and adolescents joined the demonstrations.
