Which plot element is illustrated in the Wife of Bath's story when the scene is set in Arthurian times?
alexandr1967 [171]

Answer:

It's option D.  the exposition

Explanation:

The Exposition is similar to the “setting” part of a story. It provides you with background information about the story or characters. It also explains the begging of a story. In your case, we are being told that the setting is in Arthurian times and this itself, is the exposition as we are being “exposed” to the time period of the story.

Choose the word that needs correcting: "I had to go to school on foot last week because my bike was being fixing."
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

D) Fixing

Explanation:

The sentence explains that the student could only travel by foot. But why? It is because the bike was being fixed. Now, if we replace fixing with fixed, the sentence becomes "I had to go to school on foot last week because my bike was being fixed." That makes a lot more sense! Hope this helps!
