1. Describe a setting in the Hobbit  - The shire, green and filled with hobbits. The smell is fresh and clean, the animals however not too good. the trees are easy to climb and the flowers are easily tamable, and the people are pleasant.

2. Tell how that setting explains the traits and personality of one of the characters in The Hobbit?  - The setting explains the traits of hobbits because hobbits are simple and love all things good and green, the land they live in, the shire,  is good and green and full of living things.

3. Write one specific example from the novel to support your answer. - One example from the novel to support my answer is (I couldn't find what I was looking for,  you're on your own with this one. sorry!)
