Social media plays a role in the protection of human rights by being an oulet where human beings can freely and "authentically" express their thoughts and ideas about human issues. This of course can lead to worldwide movement that gets attention of powerful people and makes a difference. Social media also plays a role in human violation rights through providing evidence and proof by technology: such as police abuse, domestic abuse, murder, etc .....
