Answer:

The best description of Earth’s mantle is it is made up of rock so hot that it flows. This layer is also called the asthenosphere. This Earth’s mantle has a thickness that reaches 2,900 kilometers to wrap up the Earth’s core. It is a rocky layer that covers 84% of Earth's volume. Its composition is rich in magnesium with temperatures at the bottom of the mantle reaching 3,000 degrees Celcius. This condition induces the high temperatures of Earth’s mantle.

Further Explanation:

In the solar system, Earth is the third planet that is located close to the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. It is the only planet that can be used by all living creatures. Structurally, the Earth’s anatomy consists of three layers, namely;

1. Lithosphere, the outer part of the Earth as a place for all the living creatures that are covered by an atmosphere.

2. Asthenosphere, the rocky layer of the Earth that is located between Lithosphere and Core.

3. Earth’s Core, the dense center of the Earth and the surface temperature here is very high.

Each layer of the Earth not only has a different constituent material but also different structures and characteristics. This is what causes each layer to hold different tasks and functions.

"As the human population grows, the demand for water will increase. The available freshwater on Earth may not be enough to susta
katrin2010 [14]

Answer: The process of reducing or removing minerals from water is called desalination.

Explanation:

The most commonly involved in this process is seawater, which by its nature contains large amounts of salt. This process makes it possible to remove salt from the water and obtain drinking water. The coastal and island regions often have great difficulty in supplying drinking and process water. As a result, permanent or occasional shortages of water and all the resulting consequences are becoming increasingly frequent.

Furthermore, in the future, due to a possible lack of water, this process could be crucial in supplying humanity with drinking water. Today, some countries (such as Saudi Arabia) that have a water scarcity problem are actively using this technique to supplement the required quantities of water.
