Answer:

The right answer is D.

Explanation:

We must remember the historical world context. There was a contest over global influence between the United States and the Soviet Union. America went to war in Korea in 1950 because it wanted to oppose what it perceived as a deliberate move of Communist expansion in Asia. In principle, it got involved in Vietnam for the same reason: to stop Communist advance in Asia, causing other countries to fall in the hands of Moscow-backed Communists (this is what we call the "domino theory").

How true was the statement by the journalist who wrote after September 11, 2001, "Nothing has changed…Everything has changed"?
lukranit [14]
I am not too sure what the phrase "nothing has changed" relates to- perhaps to the fact that the leaders and some every day people said that they would not be intimidated by the terrorists and will continue living their life without fear.

In reality however, "everything has changed" - people no longer feel as safe as they used to and there are a lot more security measures around us.

Why did Stalin want to create a “buffer zone”? to end the United States’ influence in Eastern Europe to protect the USSR’s weste
marin [14]

Stalin wanted to create a “buffer zone” to protect the USSR’s western border from another invasion.

Further Explanation:

Joseph Stalin was a Soviet states man who also served as “General Secretary” of the Communist Party from 1922 to 1952 in the Soviet Union and established an assimilated command economy through steady industrial development and agricultural collectivization. He was a Marxist devoted to Leninist interpretation of Marxism and distinguished his own approach known as Stalinism. Joseph was aware of the fact that during the WWIIU. S shaped an “arsenal of democracy:” with over 300,000 jet and bombers, 20,000 ships, 90,000 tanks, and 350,000 military trucks, along with 9 million guns, and 40 billion bullets for 16 million servicemen.

To avoid any further conflict or loss of economy of the nation Stain adopted a protective measure for the Soviet Union to avoid any further western intrusion. The idealism of Communalism was steadily throughout the central and eastern part of Europe. These circumstances led to the expansion of Buffer Zone and pronounced it as a heavily militarized zone of the world.
